About the Project: The «University Library» is an information system that manages the operations of the library at the private university «Profi University». The project was developed in 2023–2024. Its main purpose is to account for the library’s material resources, digitize library processes, and manage them through a centralized information system.

Project Features: The «University Library» information system provides the following capabilities:

• Managing the activities of the university library service;

• Searching and using electronic library resources through the electronic catalog module;

• Adding and using electronic and audio books, as well as video commentary for books;

• Creating a registry of active readers of the university;

• Identifying debtors and collecting fines;

• Providing library announcements and the «Book of the Week»;

• Electronic management of library services for students via a visual and user-friendly interface;

• Receiving and managing library payments and fines electronically;

• And other additional features.

Technologies Used: Database – PostgreSQL, Back-end – Laravel PHP Framework, Front-end – Vue.js, and others.

🛑 The library processes at the private university “Profi University” were not fully digitalized.
🛑 The accounting of library material resources was carried out manually, which led to disorder and inaccuracies.
🛑 The electronic catalog and digital resources were not integrated into a unified platform.
🛑 Data on overdue readers, fines, active readers, and book statistics were not generated automatically.
🛑 There was no convenient online interface for students to access library services.
🛑 There was no systematic presentation of library announcements, audio/video materials, or the “Book of the Week” section.
